Bartlett Regional Hospital's registered dietitians nutritionists (RDN) are important members of your healthcare team. Registered Dietitian Nutritionists work in the treatment and prevention of disease by creating personalized nutrition care plans for each patient in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Dietitians work closely with physicians, nurses and other professional staff to meet a person's nutritional needs. All newly admitted hospital patients are screened for nutritional risk and offered nutrition education as indicated.
Dietitians provide medical nutrition therapy for a variety of medical conditions that include but are not limited to:
- Cardiovascular disease
- Gastrointestinal disorders
- Weight management
- Child and adolescent nutrition
- Food allergies
- Kidney disease
- Eating disorders
You will need a physician referral in order to meet with a RDN at Bartlett, please contact your PCP to request a referral.
