Infusion and Chemotherapy Department at Bartlett Regional Hospital is a cozy unit with 4 patient chairs and 1 bed. Services provided include administration of intravenous medications, blood transfusions, antibiotic therapy, PICC care, port a cath care, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and therapeutic phlebotomies. Infusion Therapy may provide care to all age groups but with limited services to pediatric and adolescent population.
Physicians with privileges at Bartlett Regional Hospital can refer patients to the unit for care of cancer, acute or chronic conditions.
For the health and safety of our patients and staff during the COVID19 Pandemic, the following measures have been put in to place:
- Patients will be screen upon entry to the hospital for COVID19 symptoms
- Patients with symptoms or confirmed infection of COVID19 will not be allowed in Infusion Therapy.
- Patients must wear an approved mask while in Infusion Therapy
- No visitors allowed
- Frequent cleaning of the department of high touch surfaces
