For opportunities at Bartlett Regional Hospital as an intern, job shadow, volunteer, or student completing clinical practicum, you will need to complete the required application for consideration. Return the application to Human Resources to be scheduled for interim orientation.

An intern is a student in a designated field being introduced to the healthcare culture and environment as hired staff or job shadow. The intern is not currently licensed in their field of study (A nurse intern may have a CNA license.)

Student or Clinical Practicum

A current student or recent graduate of an accredited healthcare program participating in a clinical or practicum as part of his or her education degree requirements. The individual is not currently licensed or certified in his or her area of study and has minimal or no experience in their field.

Job Shadow

A job shadow is a temporary placement designed to provide the opportunity to observe healthcare workers' on-the-job tasks. This experience is limited to observation only.


A volunteer is someone who performs or offers to perform a service without pay.
