OB Mega Code Morning Session

This event focuses on two main areas- maternal cardiac arrest/ resuscitative hysterotomy and a postpartum hemorrhage/massive transfusion. The aim of the drill is to focus on the sequence of events following a maternal cardiac arrest, the roles of everyone involved, the timeline of events, and hands on practice. There will also be a segment focusing on postpartum hemorrhage; the need for massive transfusion, sequence of medications-including usage of TXA, and familiarity with the postpartum hemorrhage cart and supplies.
