ENPC-Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course
**********THIS IS A TWO DAY COURSE**********
The Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) was developed to educate participants on how to recognize the ill or injured child and to identify significant and sometimes subtle changes in the less acutely ill child.
The course teaches many aspects of pediatric emergency nursing, including pediatric trauma and resuscitation. The psycho motor skill stations facilitate initial integration of these skills in a setting that simulates pediatric patient situations.
The intent of the course is to enhance the provider's ability to rapidly and accurately assess the pediatric patient. The goal is to improve the care of the pediatric patient by increasing knowledge, skill, and confidence of emergency nurses.
Online modules must be completed prior to admission to classroom.
Classroom portion requires discussion and participation in group activities please come prepared to class.
Books available to check out in Staff Development office.
Free for employees requiring certification, standard fees for non-employees or those not requiring certification.
