Bartlett Regional Hospital has resumed operations in compliance with the Governor’s Re-Open Alaska Responsibly Plan. We have safety plans to keep patients and staff safe, including screening for COVID-19, respecting social distancing, and avoiding overlapping visits. To expedite the admission process, patients with appointments scheduled in advance will be called by a Patient Access Services representative to verify identification and insurance information prior to their visit. All patients will register with Patient Access Services by phone prior to their appointment, then briefly stop by PAS for an ID band and sign a consent for treatment when they come to the hospital. VISITOR POLICY: Each patient will be allowed ONE designated visitor. This visitor is expected to be a spouse or caregiver that resides with the patient in their home. It is required all visitors comply with the universal masking policies as per state and local regulations while in the hospital. Patient visitation will be limited to the day of admission, and the day or time of discharge to comply fully with Health Mandate 15.
