Rainforest Recovery Center (RRC) offers comprehensive treatment services for people with substance abuse, substance dependence, and other Addiction Disorders. At RRC, we know that addiction is treatable and success can be achieved when individuals take an active role in their personal recovery.

At RRC, our clients receive individualized care. We provide a thorough understanding of alcoholism, drug addiction, and the addiction process and we help our clients develop a support system to stop the addiction process and prevent relapse. RRC offers residential and outpatient substance abuse/dependence treatment programs designed to help clients and their families achieve success.

Rainforest accepts Medicaid and private insurance. We will also negotiate a sliding fee scale payment plan as needed.

A variety of levels of care are available at RRC. Admission into specific programs is determined by an assessment of each person's treatment needs and referrals are coordinated through the intake counselor and RRC social work services.

Emergency Services Program

For those individuals who are currently under the influence of alcohol or other drugs but not experiencing withdrawal, RRC offers a free emergency services program. This program provides a safe place for impaired individuals to sleep and be monitored by trained staff until they are capable of self-care.

Detoxification

When individuals are experiencing withdrawal from alcohol or other drugs, they will be evaluated and receive appropriate treatment through Bartlett Regional Hospital’s Emergency Department. Individuals who are admitted into the medical detoxification program will be further evaluated for appropriate referral for continued treatment services based on their need. People who are addicted to prescription medications may contact RRC’s Clinical Services Coordinator to arrange for detoxification and outpatient or residential treatment.

Residential Services

For individuals who have completed detoxification but are unable to maintain sobriety without removal from their using environment, RRC provides a residential program that offers a combination of education, individual, group and family therapy. RRC maintains a close connection with the twelve-step community and all RRC residential clients attend a variety of twelve-step meetings and functions. Individuals who have completed residential services will be “stepped down” into lesser intensive levels of care, depending on each individuals needs.

Partial Hospitalization(Day-Treatment) Outpatient Program

This day program is for individuals who require the intensity of residential services but have a safe and supportive living environment. Depending on their assessed needs, individuals in this program will participate in treatment five to seven days per week and in therapeutic activities throughout the day and/or evening. This program consists of 20 or more hours of therapeutic contact each week.

Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Services

As with other levels of care, outpatient programs include a number of interventions in the treatment process, such as individual, group, and family counseling, urine drug screens and referral services. Programs range from three to 19 hours of therapeutic contact each week, depending on each individual’s assessed needs.

Continuing Care

This level of service has often been referred to as “after care” and helps monitor and support those who have completed other levels of care and are currently in recovery. Individual, group and family counseling services are available as well as urine drug testing and referrals to community support groups. Much of the focus is on self-monitoring, relapse prevention and the development of sober life skills.

Specialized Treatment Groups

Relapse Prevention Support Group

This group is designed to help participants develop increased awareness and management of their own triggers and warning signs of relapse. Participants meet weekly for skill building, problem solving and exploration of recovery options.

Women’s and Men’s Groups

These groups focus on recovery issues relevant to each gender. Group tasks include self-assessment, skill building, relapse prevention, trauma, and healthy relationships.

Saturday Family Program

Research on recovery and successful treatment shows that family/significant other involvement in recovery increases the likelihood of success. This group takes place on four consecutive Saturdays and provides valuable information and support to family members, significant others and clients. Client’s children or stepchildren, who are 12 years of age and older, are welcomed to attend. Topics covered include codependence –vs– loving relationships, family survival roles, parenting issues, family systems in the context of alcohol and other drug abuse and dependence, and family recovery issues.

Treatment Costs

The cost for treatment at RRC varies depending on the length of treatment and the individualized needs of each client. Rainforest accepts Medicaid and private insurance. We will also negotiate a sliding fee scale payment plan as needed.
