Once received your application is reviewed for minimum qualifications and forwarded to the hiring manager. The hiring manager will review your application and will contact you if interested in an interview. We recently had an outside entity conduct a comprehensive wage and benefit review. We are pleased that our wages are competitive and we have brought up to market the few positions that were below market.
Our benefit package is strongly competitive and our generous paid leave program is one of the best in the Pacific Northwest. Bartlett participates in the City & Borough of Juneau self-insured medical program which provides for a three tier choice for employees and their families. In addition, Bartlett participates in the State of Alaska Public Employees Retirement Program (PERS) as we are considered a government entity with the City and Borough of Juneau. - New Employee Orientation

Bartlett is pleased to provide a comprehensive New Employee Orientation program to all employees. The program is designed to meet not only the requirements of The Joint Commission regulatory agency, but also strives to truly assist our new staff in the on-boarding process.
New Employee Orientation is held on the second Monday of each month. To accommodate varying schedules, an Interim Orientation is held on the fourth Monday of each month. Employees must start work on one of these dates.
- Day One (all employees) includes Meet the Managers, the CEO Statement on Mission and Vision, Compliance, Confidentiality, Fire and Life Safety and Hospital Wide Tour, Customer Service and HR Policies.
- Day Two (all employees) includes hands-on computer/electronic training for timesheets and Meditech, Infection Control, Quality and Process Improvement, and Cultural Diversity.
- Day Three (direct patient contact employees) – Patient Care Orientation provided by Staff Development
- Day Four (all nurses) Nursing Orientation provided by Staff Development
- Day Five (all nurses) Nursing Orientation provided by Staff Development
