Bartlett Regional Hospital

This 6 week series generally starts the beginning of every other month. This series meets on Thursdays from March 4th to April 8th to help the expectant family prepare for the birth experience. Topics include: what to expect in labor, pain coping practices, preparing for unexpected labor variations and a virtual tour of Bartlett Beginnings: Family Birth Center. We recommended that parents plan to complete the class about 4 weeks before their due date.

This class meets on Wednesdays for 3 weeks from March 17th to April 7th. During this class, expectant fathers and new fathers share their experiences and discuss the importance of the father's role in his child's development. They learn parenting skills such as diapering, calming and bathing their infant.

Presented by the Association of Medical Surgical Nurses instructor, this 2 day course is designed to prepare the nurse to take the Certification Exam. Cost for Non-BRH staff is $250.00. Registration is required. Class runs Tuesday and Wednesday.

This class is for individuals whose work or interests require first aid and CPR. Heartsaver First Aid and CPR is an American Heart Association Course. The card is “good” for two years. The cost for Non- BRH employees is $60.00. Registration is required.
